Skin Cube (HudKub), 2026

silicone, synthetic hair, PPC plastic

HudKub stems from the memory of constructing cubes from blueprints printed on paper in primary school. It considers flatness, construction, the implication of form and the IKEA-ification of objects, where forms are designed to be reproducible and translatable across place and time. These ideas meet the abject, considering the body, technology, power and intelligence, especially in the context of research into Frankenstein, The Mechanical Turk, Galvanism, and Mechanical philosophy.
